I am a Mining Engineer by profession. After 10 years working in Coal Mines I left to join the Export Department of a well-known Mining Equipment manufacturer. For the rest of my career I was involved in the sales of mining equipment both internationally and domestically.

As a result I have travelled to most counties in the World who have a coal mining industry.

I retired in 2003 to concentrate on my favorite hobbies of golf and fishing, so where else in the World could we live except Florida. We visited Florida on vacation for about 6 years before we found our dream villa in Crystal River.

She started with a few simple jobs like four years in the Navy, secretatial and administration jobs and then developed into the much harder job of bringing up two boys and controlling an unruly husband.

After the family had grown she then decided to go back to higher education. At the age of 53 she attained a B.A. in History and English. Not content, she then took an M.A. in English Renaissance.
