Terms and Conditions
1. A deposit of $300 shall be paid at the time of booking. Should the owners find it necessary for any reason to cancel the booking the deposit will be returned in full. This will cancel any contract that may be considered to have been in effect and will be considered by both parties as full settlement of cancellation.
2. A security bond of $200 will be required at the time of Final Payment which will be held against possible loss, breakage and damage. The security deposit (less any amount deducted for loss, breakage or damage) will be returned within 28 days of the end of the letting. The renter will also pay the full replacement cost of any damaged or lost item should such replacement cost be more than the amount of the security deposit.
3. Any cancellation must be in writing and is subject to the following cancellation charges;-
More than 2 months prior to arrival date ....................full deposit
1 to 2 months prior to arrival date ..............................50% total cost
Less than 1 month prior to arrival date ......................100% total cost
4. The Final Payment shall be paid in full 2 months before the commencement date of the letting. If payment of the balance is not made by the due date the owners reserve the right to consider the booking cancelled by the renter and the terms of clause 3 would apply.
5. No persons other than those named on the booking form shall be permitted to stay at the property. To avoid inconveniencing our neighbors only one boat per rental party is allowed without the written permission of the owner. Failure to adhere to these terms may risk the return of the security deposit.
6. Arrival should be after 16:00 hours Florida time unless otherwise agreed. The property must be vacated by 10:00 hours on the day of departure. However, earlier check in or later check out may be arranged but only with prior written agreement. Early occupancy or late departure without consent will be subject to one extra days rental charge which may be deducted from the security deposit.
7. Management/property owners will not accept responsibility or liability for any accident, injury, illness or damage to any person or their property that is sustained during the rental period and/or use of the pool or other facilities regardless of howsoever it may be caused. In particular, children must be supervised at all times when using the pool or pool area. This is a water-front property and the canal is not fenced so care must be taken especially with children in this area.
8. The property owner cannot accept liability for failure of any facilities/services at or to the property.
9. Completion of the booking form or payment of deposit signifies acceptance of the Terms and Conditions stated above.
Note: It is strongly advised that you obtain full insurance cover which offers maximum protection against disrupted travel plans. Insurance for medical expenses especially for non-residents of the USA is also strongly recommended. These should be obtained prior to departure.
